Cyrus the Unsinkable Sea Serpent
The book of the month, hosted by second grade at Hallsville's Intermediate School, is called Cyrus the Unsinkable Sea Serpent. We would like everyone at school and in the community to read this book and post a response on our book blog to this question: In the book, Cyrus the Unsinkable Sea Serpent, was Cyrus, the main character, responsible in this story or not responsible? Please state whether or not you think Cyrus was responsible in the story and tell why. Only comments relating to this question will be allowed. All other comments will be removed. I think Cyrus was responsible because he helped the ship get to land.
I think Cyrus was responsible because he helped the poor on the Prim Rose get to land so they could seek their fortune.

I think Cyrus is responible by helping the ship get to land. And makeing a raft out of himself. And when he got the pirates to shore he said his goodbys and then he left to take a nap. And he took a nap on a island and he was biger than the island. When he knocked his self out. And when he came out of the water he didn't see it at all. Then he saw another bout. Then he went tord it got stop. The water was silent.
I think Cyrus was responsible because he helped a Rose Art ship cross the sea that he didn't even know. He got it unstuck from a vulture and he saved it from waves going so high in the air that the ship was about to break and sunk another pirate ship to save them. The people were poor and they needed to get across the sea to get money and to get rich so they would have money for houses and clothing. At the very end all the people loved him and had their destiny and money and they never worried about going across the sea again because they knew that Cyrus would help them. Then he went to take a month long nap.
I think Cyrus is responsible because he doesn't want pirates to hurt people and he is nice and very kind and brave.
Cyrus was respubul because he help the poor people suriving the ware with the canns.

I think Cyrus was respondsible and not respondsible in the book because he was not respondsible when he said I will go crash that boat. He was respondsible when he helped the pore people get acrros the sea and blow them.

I think Cyrus the Unsinkable Sea Serpent is responsible in the story when he did not kill the old people he destroy the pirate ship insted and he was not responsible when he was going to kill the old people.
